We already published an article unveiling the truth of the PS4 stock hard drive and why it’s the weakest part in the whole console (read on PS4 HDD specs. If you’re a PS4 Pro owner, read PS4 Pro HDD Specs).
I might add that when it is being particularly slow it comes up with the "There are too many spelling and grammatical errors." message in print view, every time I so much as scroll the mouse. Why Is PS4 Slow and Lagging In most cases, the PS4 slowness and lag stem from the degradation of its stock internal HDD.

When METRO: Last Light was released last year I won a competition on Twitter (Papachi03) which gave me a PC digital download of the precursor to Last Light which is of course METRO: 2033. This has me totally bamboozled, and I would really appreciate some help! Thanks in advance! Before I get into the serious business of reviewing METRO: Redux I have a small confession to make. Reboot resolve problem temporary, but its not a solution. By the way Cortana does not work at all when start menu got lag. Problem arise after 24-30 hours (more or less) using PC. When i click on start button start menu does not show immediately, it appear with delay, only after half a sec or more. Giving trouble too, when it never used to. I have really burst issue with start menu. I tried reducing the size of the templates, which seemed to help temporarily, but now my smallest sized template is I have some major issues with uneven lag playing last light, for example the first walk around was pretty laggy on even low (20FPS) but I can cope when not.

I have also just done Office updates and Windows updates, again with no effect. I have just reinstalled Word, with no change to this issue. They are fairly simple templates, with just text, and one template has a single image. I'm working on documents that are generally 1 - 15 pages of text, a few hundred KB up to 2 MB max, using templates that are 14 - 50 KB.

Lately saving has also become more of a problem, where it takes a full minute or so to do a simple Ctrl+S save, freezing the document until it's finished saving. Sometimes even in draft view it freezes when trying to navigate the document. You can play 2033 in Spartan Mode and vice versa. For the last 8 months or so I have had trouble with Word (not sure about other Office programs as I don't use them much) being very very laggy and slow, so that I have to use draft view. Spartan is akin to Last Light-go in guns blazing and you’ll probably be fine. Survival Mode is more like 2033-bullets and other supplies are hard to come by, and you’ll have to scrounge to make it through. For example in Fifa 16, I start a match against IA's and then very first minute the game works fine at around 170/180FPS and suddenly the game slows down to 40FPS for around 4 or 5 seconds (is not just a drop in frames, I loose control like while having lag). Redux includes two play modes for each game-Survival and Spartan. On a downtown trainĤA Games also listened to the complaints of Metro 2033 fans that Last Light skewed too much towards the Commando side of the spectrum in comparison to 2033’s more stealth-based mechanics. That’s something we’ll have to test when the game releases this summer. I’m curious how much of a graphical bump the game gets when you compare the best PC settings to the new best PC settings. To say that Metro 2033 looked like absolute garbage on the 360 compared to a high-powered PC…well, that’s putting it kindly. And yeah, Metro Redux blows the piddling Xbox 360 graphics out of the water with all the force of ten nuclear bombs. The closest we got was a comparison video between the Xbox 360 version of Metro 2033 and the new visuals in Metro Redux. But when the developers tell you “This is an entirely new section of this level, added just for the Redux version,” you can only smile and nod and try desperately to recall what the game was like before.Ĭompounding the problem is the fact that I wasn’t shown graphics comparisons between Metro 2033 on the PC and the new-and-improved Metro Redux version of 2033 on PC. Nothing I saw felt “out of place” as it were. In a way I guess that’s a good thing-it still feels like Metro. You’re creeping around post-nuclear war Russia with too few bullets and slapped-together weapons in a state of isolated, unnerving terror, just trying to figure out what (if anything) is different.
